Pink Unicorn is a collection of furniture, lamps and decor made from recycled paper.
The collection is dedicated to a game and a fairy tale. Cats, as the most playful creatures, occupy a central place in it. Pendant lamps in the shape of cats with glowing hearts and ears, balls, portraits of cats by the designer of the collection Margarita Kazarina – Konstantin, Kazimir and Fyodor Kuzmich. The portraits graphically depict the fur pattern on the forehead of cats – each animal has a unique one. The title character of the collection, the Pink Unicorn, is disembodied as a fabulous, intimate creature. References to it can be found in the commode: the pink color of the inside finishing and the hoof legs.
In this collection we combine our traditional paper recycling technology with classic carpentry. The objects have mahogany elements. There are also innovations in working with paper – the collection features three different colors and different fractions of paper mixtures, various processing technologies, molding and marquetry.
When creating the Pink Unicorn collection, we set ourselves several goals:
1. To demonstrate our new technologies and best practices in the field of recycled paper use.
2. Show that recycled paper goes well with expensive materials such as mahogany.
3. And, of course, to materialize our new story – a tale about cats.
